The hotel has played host to U.S. Presidents and celebrities and was the setting for Hollywood productions including 1915ʼs “The Vampire” and 1997ʼs “Man in the Iron Mask”.
Most known for its huge white cross on top of the hill. It’s relatively easy to do since it’s more of a paved road. But it does have beautiful views of wildflowers, the mountains, the river, and wildlife.
Riverside is well-known for its navel oranges, and its booming citrus industry has dramatically impacted life in the city. A visit to the park can show you the local, historical and cultural landscape built around this zesty fruit.
The drive-in opened in 1964 and was built on a former orange ranch. Fortunately, this is not a forgotten relic, but an exciting living history. Summer nights are perfect for movies at the drive-in! Bring your own food and enjoy quality time with family.
