We are so excited to share our love of Montana. Wednesday, May 11-Hiking Hyalite Canyon. Hyalite Reservoir holds 8,000-acre feet of water and is used for Bozeman’s drinking water and Gallatin Valley irrigation. The Hyalite Drainage Recreational Area is surrounded by 10,000-foot mountain peaks, creeks, streams, lakes, and numerous waterfalls. Start time-7:00 am Ability levels-we will be doing the strenuous all-day hike (roughly 10 miles). There are multiple ability levels and distances for those who prefer to do a shorter route. Start address-Meet at Hyalite Ski Trail (on Hyalite Reservoir) and then drive the trailhead.
