Jeff and Alex met during high school, but became close during their time together at UC Berkeley (Go Bears). Jeff had the honor (and horror) of living with Alex for several years, in which he fed Alex an excessive number of multi patty cheeseburgers and triple decker pizzas.

Freshman year floormates at Cal, Esther and Angie have kept in touch - from trying to build a startup in 2006, and still Angie asks Esther basic sysadmin Qs. These days we still geek out, mostly over 🐶-coin and (vegan) LA eats.

Mike and Alex also met at UC Berkeley through Theatre Rice. They co-wrote several outrageous sketches one of which offended civil rights leader Yuri Kochiyama. They moved to San Francisco around the same time, and wreaked havoc in the Inner Richmond, all the way down to the Mission.
