We met in Anthony's classroom on the first day of school. I was nervous and his kind eyes and nice smile drew me in leading me to sit near him for orientation. He offered to help me get acclimated as a new teacher there and he soon became my rock in the building. From there our connection grew. He finally asked me out on our first date one November evening during parent teacher conferences. We went out, had a great time, and the rest is history...
Ant, Liv and I had planned to go to the Art Museum for Ant's 32nd birthday, we realized it was going to rain so we moved the trip up a day. We stopped at the Philadelphia Water Works Gazebo where Liv and Ant were determined to get a nice picture of Anthony and I there, the problem was that there were TONS of tourists in the way. Frustrated, Ant suggested we moved to the upper gazebo closer to the Art Museum that overlooks the river. I thought the two of them were being silly about this whole picture thing but went along with it. When we got up there, Ant handed Liv the phone to take our pic. Next thing, I know Ant is down on one knee! It all made sense now. I cried, said yes, and Liv got it all on film, of course.
