After my graduation, Arian surprised me with a little envelope that said we were going to Savannah — a place I’d always dreamed of visiting with him. He had planned the entire weekend, filled with family, close friends, and beautiful memories in one of the most romantic cities. That evening, before dinner, he told me he wanted to make a quick stop to show me something special. We walked through downtown Savannah to the Forsyth Fountain just as the rain began to fall. The glow of the street lamps, the sound of the drizzle, and the evening light made everything feel like a scene from a movie. As we stopped to take photos, I turned around — and there he was on one knee. In that moment, everything around us disappeared. It was just him, on one knee in front of me, and the realization that we had made it to the moment we’d both dreamed of. Through happy tears, I said yes. Afterward, we celebrated with a beautiful dinner surrounded by the people we love. It was everything I’d ever imagined — timeless, heartfelt, and perfectly us.
