Coffee Tasting Tour
Exciting Opportunity! Sonia Amoruso, Finca Lerida Coffee Estate Owner and Coffee Expert, will give two complimentary Coffee Tours special for all our guests! The tour begins in the fields where you can get a glimpse of vital factors that influence coffee's quality. Next you will learn about the history and secrets of coffee handling and production - all the way from ripe coffee cherries to roasted beans, while walking the plantation. The tour ends at the tasting table, where you will experience the complexity of high-quality coffee and learn how to make a good cup of coffee! Kotowa Coffee House
Perfect Coffee Spot! The name KOTOWA comes from Panama's Indigenous vocabulary meaning "mountains." These family-owned coffee farms in Boquete, produce some of the highest-quality coffee in Latin America. Cherries are carefully chosen and processed, with only the best grains being placed under the sun at 1,700 meters. Kotowa patiently waits for at least two-months, while their coffee "rests" inside their cellars until reaching full maturity. Great for breakfast or a mid-day snack!
The Lost Waterfalls
Incredible Hike! The Lost Waterfalls is a stunning hike through the cloud forest in Boquete to 3 stunning waterfalls - secret crown jewels of the region. The hike takes one to three hours round trip depending on how many waterfalls you want to see. If you are lucky, you may get to see sloths, monkeys, and fascinating wildlife living in the cloud forest. Enjoy breathtaking cliff-edge views and a rejuvenating swim inside an underground cavern!
