Travel Note

AirBnB Experiences

I absolutely loved using the Airbnb Experiences feature—it’s a fantastic way to find unique tours and excursions without having to spend an entire day in one place. Whether you’re into sightseeing, bike tours, wine tastings, or food adventures, Airbnb offers something for everyone. What I especially appreciate is that you can see who else will be in your group before you book. As someone who’s traveled solo, that little detail made a big difference—it’s a great way to meet new people and feel more connected while exploring. If you want to add some flexibility to your trip, definitely check out Airbnb Experiences!

Rental Car

Auto Europe Website

For the last few trips, I’ve used Auto Europe to help select the rental cars we wanted. It’s a super convenient tool that gives you a consolidated view of the best rates across different rental companies, making it easy to compare and book exactly what you need. Important note: If you're planning to drive in Italy, you’ll need an International Driver’s Permit (IDP) in addition to your regular driver’s license. We got ours at CAA, and it’s valid for one year—it’s quick, affordable, and required by law for most rentals in Italy. Renting a car is a great way to explore Puglia and beyond at your own pace—just be ready for roundabouts, narrow streets, and lots of scenic detours!
