As many before them, their love story began with the touch of a like button. The almost instantaneous transformation of a digital heart into two beating hearts, united as one, is nothing short of a God ordained miracle. The initial chapter of their story was short, sweet and painful, as a summer romance was abruptly ended due to Angelo’s inability to provide Beverly with an atmosphere drenched in compassion, gentle correction and leadership. However, the love formed in that short span of time was more than enough to catapult the two into another attempt at success. Unfortunately, the fears and anxiety residing within Beverly’s heart resulted in additional hurt for the love struck couple and the false conclusion that they were simply not meant to be together. The six month period following break up number two is where the Lord continued to show Himself faithful. Ang and Bev entered a season where both attempted to replace the bond meant solely for each other. They were unsuccessful. The Lord continued to keep Beverly in the forefront of Angelo’s mind, as he would often find himself praying for his future bride. One faithful morning in June of 2023, the Lord pressed on Angelo’s heart the desire to reach out to his ex girlfriend. Unbeknownst to them, that text message would spark the third chapter in their love story. However, unlike previous chapters, this time around they decided to fight tooth and nail for their relationship. Laying aside decades of pride, hurt and rejection they were able to form a level of trust, respect and love necessary to propel them into the next season of their lives. The covenant of marriage. Angelo and Beverly are active members of their church communities. They find great pleasure in serving God and His people. They genuinely desire to exude the love of Jesus to all who cross their paths. Worship is their passion and laughter is a tool they use consistently to strengthen their bond. Although they were brought together later in life, they look forward to ushering in decades of memories engulfed in the riches of God’s love, grace and mercy.
