What's the easiest way to get to and from our wedding venue and the church?
Answer
Our reception venue, the Emerald Grande Resort, is 15 miles from the Destin - Fort Walton Beach (VPS) Airport. Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the Emerald Grande are just a short 6 minute drive apart. Guests are welcome to use rideshare services like Uber or Lyft that run about $5-$16 one way. Those rates are standard for any hotel in the area to and from the church. Local taxi services, rental cars, or car-share app like Turo are other options for your convenience.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Answer
Complimentary parking is available at the Emerald Grande Hotel on Friday and Saturday evenings for all wedding guests. Simply inform the attendants upon exiting that you are attending Amy and Angelo's Wedding.

Will our wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting our Cocktail Hour will be held outside on the Captain's Deck of the Emerald Grande, overlooking Destin Harbor. Our reception will be held inside the Grande Ballroom.

Children are welcome at the Welcome Party and Nuptial Mass. Please note that Cocktail Hour and the Reception are adults only, with exceptions made for members of the wedding party and newborns. Childcare services are available through Angelfish Babysitting Services. How to access Emerald Grande's Private Beach?
Answer
Guests of the Emerald Grande and their companions can enjoy access to the private beach. Simply present your room key card at the small hut near the dock behind Harry T’s before boarding the Emerald Grande Shuttle Boat. The shuttle operates approximately every 20 minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the final return trip at 5:30 p.m.
