Back in November 2024, Angelo & Jasmine went to Tofino to spend a cozy weekend storm watching ahead of Jasmine's birthday. One night, after spending the day walking along the beach in the rain, Angelo insisted that Jasmine open her birthday gift early, even though she hated opening gifts before her actual birthday. The gift? A beautiful succulents Lego set. For as long as Angelo & Jasmine both can remember, it has been a tradition to gift Botanical Lego sets for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. Of course, they began to build the Lego right away - each set of succulents were wrapped separately. It was a perfect and cozy evening, with the sound of the rain and the waves coming in through the window, and The Office playing in the background. However, after building one set of succulents, Jasmine wanted to go get food and drinks (typical), and finish building the rest of the Lego later. But Angelo insisted that they build one more set. After much debate, Jasmine agreed to build another set, not knowing what awaited. After opening the plastic bag holding all the Lego pieces, an odd piece of orange tissue fell out of the bag. Jasmine noticed it immediately, and unraveled it - and there it was, her dream engagement ring! She was so shocked, "how did this get in here? Is this THE ring?" It indeed was the ring, and Angelo proposed!
