What is traveling to the venue like?

Answer

August 6 is a home Tiger’s game. There is also currently construction on most major highways making traffic very slow on the weekend. Please take into account extra activity on the way to and around the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding is a formal event, and the club has the following dress code and guidelines. The Detroit Athletic Club is a world-recognized city club steeped in tradition and elegance. Members and their guests are expected to dress with good judgement. For men a collared shirt (must be tucked in), tailored pants, and dress shoes. For women a dress and dress shoes are acceptable. Denim, t-shirts, baseball hats, tattered or torn clothing, cargo pants, and shorts are not permitted at any time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! A valet is available free of charge. Just pull up and tell them you’re with the Angellotti-Severson wedding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please advise us prior to the wedding if you have any type of food restrictions or allergies. Food includes nuts and fish.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults only event. We apologize that we can’t accommodate children at our wedding.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. The Hilton Garden Inn is located one block from the venue. Walking will take about 5 minutes.
