Airport/Fights: Durham is 15 minutes from the nearest airport, Raleigh/Durham Int'l (RDU).
We recommend booking at the time you receive your invitation/save the date to get the best possible prices. April can get tricky with graduations and three universities in close proximity.
Where to stay: This is the preference of the individual. We are close to downtown, and many of the events will be as well, so AirBnb, Vrbo, or hotel are recommended. Even more true if you are meeting groups of families or friends.
Car Rental (?): This is up to the family/individual. Many of you are traveling and may want to make it a longer trip. There are plenty of car rental agencies at the airport.
If you are attempting to be price conscious, we recommend a hotel or AirBnb close to downtown. Most of the events will be there, and Lyfts and Ubers abound.

This is actually pretty helpful. I forget that not everyone is a starving graduate student, so I assume everyone is incredibly poor and prefers public transportation everywhere. To each their own.
