We Can't Wait to Celebrate with You!

Our Story We come from two different backgrounds, and when our paths first crossed, we had no idea how deeply our lives would become connected or how much we would shape one another along the way. Then came college. Jacen moved to Minnesota to pursue football, while Angel stayed home, continuing her education while also learning how to live independently on her own. Long distance wasn’t easy, but it was always worth it. Flights were booked, weekends were counted down, and no matter how many miles stood between us, we always found our way back to each other. Eventually, Jacen’s journey led him closer to home when he decided to pursue nursing at the University of Mary Hardin–Baylor. Through every move, late-night conversation, and season of change, one thing never wavered — our love. A love built on laughter, patience, and constant support. Jacen has always had a way of making Angel laugh, even in the hardest moments. And to Jacen, Angel was a different kind of special — sweeter than honey, kinder than a saint, and one of the most patient and optimistic people he has ever known. We may be different in many ways, but those differences only brought balance to our relationship. Through time, distance, and growth, our love continued to deepen and prove itself. So in the summer of 2024, when Jacen asked for Angel’s hand in marriage, the only response possible was “yes.” Now, as we grow closer to sharing our “I do’s,” we are so grateful to celebrate this moment and our story with all of you who will be joining us on our special day.
