It all started, as many great stories do, with a trip to Publix. One ordinary day, Angelisse headed to Publix with her sister Raquel and her godson Uri, on a mission to secure some iconic PubSubs. As they made their way to the register, Raquel ran into an old friend, Gabriel. A quick introduction and a handshake later, everyone went their separate ways… but something about that moment stuck with Angelisse. As they continued their shopping, Angelisse casually told her sister, “He’s cute.” Raquel, of course, didn’t quite pick up on the hint, so Angelisse followed up with, “Are you going to put me on or what?” Cue the laughter, a little social media investigating, and a very intentional Instagram follow. Gabriel eventually followed back (finally!), and they began to connect. After just over a week of long conversations and deepening curiosity, Gabriel invited Angelisse to a special service at his church. While they didn’t get to talk much that night, it was clear something special was unfolding. Not long after, a spontaneous Steak 'n Shake date sealed the deal. They talked for hours, uncovering more and more that connected them. What followed was a beautiful season of discovery. They realized they'd crossed paths so many times before without ever noticing; attending the same youth camps and church events, even living in neighborhoods across the street from each other at one point. Gabriel had even unknowingly sat just a few tables away from Angelisse at her cousin’s baby shower. It was clear: their paths had been circling each other for years, but it wasn’t until God’s perfect timing that they finally met. Nine months of constant conversations, honest moments, and undeniable chemistry later, Gabriel asked Angelisse to be his girlfriend; and of course, she ecstatically said yes. Fast forward to December 28, 2024. Gabriel asked Angelisse to join him on a surprise date. She said yes without hesitation. As they arrived at one of their favorite places, Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards, Angelisse had no idea what was about to happen. As they wandered the open grounds, they spotted two familiar faces in the distance (their mothers). That’s when Gabriel turned to her and revealed the truth: this wasn’t just another date. It was the date, the day he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Surrounded by loved ones, with joy overflowing, Angelisse said yes to forever! And that brings us to today. Preparing for the most important commitment of our lives. We’re so excited to celebrate this new chapter together, and we couldn’t imagine doing it without you there.

Todo comenzó, como muchas grandes historias, con una visita a Publix. Un día cualquiera, Angelisse fue a Publix con su hermana Raquel y su ahijado Uri, con la misión de conseguir los icónicos PubSubs. Mientras se dirigían a la caja, Raquel se topó con un viejo amigo: Gabriel. Tras una breve presentación y un apretón de manos, cada uno siguió su camino... pero algo en ese momento se quedó grabado en la mente de Angelisse. Mientras continuaban con las compras, Angelisse le comentó a su hermana con naturalidad: “Está lindo.” Raquel, por supuesto, no captó la indirecta, así que Angelisse fue directa y le dijo: “¿Me vas a conectar o qué?” Después de muchas risas, un poco de investigación en redes sociales, y un seguimiento muy intencional en Instagram, todo comenzó. Eventualmente, Gabriel la siguió de vuelta (¡por fin!), y empezaron a conectar. Tras poco más de una semana de largas conversaciones y creciente curiosidad, Gabriel invitó a Angelisse a un servicio especial en su iglesia. Aunque esa noche no pudieron hablar mucho en persona, estaba claro que algo especial comenzaba a surgir. Poco después, una cita espontánea en Steak 'n Shake selló la conexión. Hablaron por horas, descubriendo cada vez más cosas que los unían. Lo que siguió fue una hermosa etapa de descubrimiento. Se dieron cuenta de que ya se habían cruzado muchas veces sin notarlo: asistieron a los mismos campamentos juveniles y eventos de iglesia, incluso vivieron en vecindarios que estaban justo enfrente el uno del otro. Gabriel incluso había estado en el baby shower de la prima de Angelisse, sentado solo a unas mesas de distancia. Era evidente: sus caminos se habían estado cruzando por años, pero no fue hasta el tiempo perfecto de Dios que finalmente se conocieron. Nueve meses de conversaciones constantes, momentos sinceros y una química innegable después, Gabriel le pidió a Angelisse que fuera su novia. Y por supuesto, ella dijo que sí… ¡con mucha emoción! Avanzamos al 28 de diciembre de 2024. Gabriel le pidió a Angelisse que lo acompañara en una cita sorpresa. Ella aceptó sin dudarlo. Llegaron a uno de sus lugares favoritos, Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards, y Angelisse no tenía idea de lo que estaba por suceder. Mientras caminaban por los jardines, vieron dos rostros familiares a lo lejos (sus madres). Fue entonces cuando Gabriel se volteó hacia Angelisse y le reveló la verdad: esta no era una cita cualquiera. Era la cita. El día en que él le pidió pasar el resto de su vida juntos. Rodeados de seres queridos, con el corazón rebosante de alegría, ¡Angelisse dijo que sí para siempre! Y eso nos trae hasta hoy. Preparándonos para el compromiso más importante de nuestras vidas. Estamos emocionados de celebrar este nuevo capítulo juntos, y no podemos imaginar hacerlo sin ti ahí, siendo testigo y celebrando con nosotros.
