The Suquet and the Old Port : The hill of the "Suquet" is where Cannes began. You can start your tour of Cannes with the old town. You can reach it from various angles, taking steeply sloping narrow streets. Visit the ramparts, the Musée de la Castre, the square tower and the church. Admire the view over the city, the port, the Croisette, the Iles de Lérins and a substantial portion of the Bay of Cannes, Forville market. Rue Meynadier is a pedestrian street leading out of the old town of the Suquet.

Port Canto, le Palm Beach: Pointe Croisette Port Canto was the first private marina in France and remains one of the leading marinas in Europe. Palm Beach was built on the ruins of Fort de la Croix in 1929. At this marina, you can rent boats and jet skiis. From the Palm Beach area, you can admire a unique view over the Ile Sainte Marguerite and the Bay of Cannes.
Iles des Lerins: Ile Saint-Marguerite and Île Saint-Honorat is a 15-20 minute ferry ride from Cannes. The island is a very popular attraction, The island is most famous for allegedly holding the mysterious Man in the Iron Mask captive during the 17th century. It took the Man in the Iron Mask 11 years to leave this tiny, forested island. His cell can be visited in the Fort of St Marguerite, now renamed the Musée de la Mer (Museum of the Sea). It is around 1 hour 30 min from Cannes by car, and so, traffic is to be expected! It is a daily shuttle service : Departure from Cannes at 9:30 am arriving at 10:45 am to st Trop then leaves at 4:30 pm reaching back Cannes at 5:45 pm.
