Les and Angelique’s story began on July 18th, 2020, at a wedding in St. Helena, Nebraska. Les was the charming best man standing beside his lifelong friend, while Angelique was attending as a guest of her old high school friend. Angelique had no idea that she would spend the evening completely captivated, flirting with and chasing after the handsome best man who had instantly caught her eye. Before the night ended, they exchanged phone numbers and began texting each other. What started as a few messages quickly turned into several days of constant conversation, as they discovered how much they enjoyed getting to know one another. Just twelve days later, on July 30th, Les asked Angelique on their first official date. He took her out on his boat for a sunset cruise and a float on the water. It was an evening filled with effortless conversation and the kind of rare, undeniable connection you simply can't ignore. They topped off the perfect night with dinner at Players ( the Springfield Pub). From that moment on, Les and Angelique have been inseparable. Together, they have built a life rooted in love, filled with laughter, and rich with countless beautiful memories—a journey that has happily led them to the day they say “I do.”
