Angelique and Griffin's love story began long before they actually met. Back in high school, they had heard of each other through mutual friends, but their paths never quite crossed. Angelique's friends from cheerleading knew of Griffin, and some of her brother's friends knew of him through select baseball.Though they moved in similar circles, it wasn't until years later, after they had both graduated high school and started college, that they finally connected. A few messages were exchanged, and they decided to go on a date. After that first meeting, Griffin knew that Angelique was the one for him. Despite living on opposite ends of the state, neither Griffin nor Angelique could deny the connection they felt and were determined to see each other again.They embarked on a long distance relationship, putting in the time and effort to be together whenever possible. He prayed for her. She prayed for him. And God smiled, knowing their names were written next to each other. As life moved forward, Griffin graduated college in Oregon while Angelique was preparing to transfer to Washington State University in Pullman, WA--Griffin's hometown. God has brought them closer together and their relationship only grew stronger. Throughout their years of dating, they experienced many seasons of life together, supporting each other through every challenge and celebrating every joy. Griffin always knew he wanted to marry Angelique, and on September 15th, 2024, he made that dream a reality by proposing during a surprise family trip to Italy. Now, after all these years of shared adventures, growing with the Lord and unwavering love, Griffin and Angelique are excited to begin their next chapter together as they celebrate their wedding day in Washington.
