The day we all been waiting for…

Angelique was a baseball fan, she decided to be a baseball manager for the Port Angeles High school Baseball team in 2022. Matthew started his Second year on the baseball team. During a Home game against Bainbridge, Angelique didn’t have a ride so she had to wait for her sister(Ashley) to pick her up. However, her sister was still at work so she had to to stick around for the second game. Angelique decided to hangout in the dugout with the other manager Jazzmen, the coach gave Angelique a task to keep pitch count along with Matthew. Angelique kept getting sidetracked and had to ask Matthew what the pitch count was and that’s how they first met. They both thought each other looked cute. He told one of his teammates at practice the next day on 3-18 that he thought she was cute, and his teammate told her! There was a game & dance on 3-19, they had not spoken at all. During the game when Angelique was in the dugout Matthew made it his mission to… Stay as far away from her as possible because he was extremely nervous. What a romantic right… After the game Angelique made the first move by snapping Matthew and telling him he did a good job. He then got the courage to ask her to come to the dance with him. They hung out for the first time and had the first conversation with each other at the dance. At that moment Matthew asked Angelique to be his girlfriend. She looked at him as if he was crazy because this was the first time they truly ever talked. She didn’t know what to say and stood blankly for what felt like an eternity for Matthew. Finally she gave him an answer and said yes.
