We met in San Jose while Angeline was visiting her cousins before starting business school. We spent some time getting to know each other over the weekend, and Julian even asked Angeline to be his girlfriend after only a few days of first meeting. We began a long distance relationship for 2 years, and then Julian moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to deepen our relationship. We have lived together for 4 years, and go to church every Sunday at St. Monica’s. After almost 6 years together, we are now getting married at the same church that has strengthened our relationship.
Angeline came home from work to find our apartment romantically lit up with hundreds of tea candles, a path of red rose petals, and our pictures scattered everywhere. As Angeline walked down slowly looking at the memories of our 5 year relationship, Julian stood at the end of the rose path. Julian genuinely expressed his love, got down on one knee, and proposed. Angeline hugged him, kissed him, and said yes! It was a romantic and intimate moment just for the two of us that we will cherish forever. Proposal Video: https://youtu.be/FnEY4KdW3iI
The first time Angeline brought Julian to mass at St. Monica Church was in May of 2013. Halfway through mass she asked him what he thought of the beautiful parish. Julian looked around and said, "I think this is where we are going to get married." Now 5 years after that moment, we will be receiving the sacrament of marriage in front of our family and friends at the beautiful St. Monica Church.
