Angeline and Christian’s story began in 2016, behind the deli counter at Raley’s. In a crowd full of thousands of people, a familiar face caught Angeline’s eye - it was Christian, already walking toward her as the lights danced across the crowd. She called out his name, and when their eyes met again, it felt like no time had passed. That moment reignited something that had never really gone away…only this time, they didn’t hesitate. From that night on, they were inseparable. Long texts turned into late-night drives, spontaneous adventures, and hours that never felt long enough. Whether it was grabbing food, late night strolls in the park, or simply being in each other’s company, every moment together deepened their love. After four beautiful years of falling even more for one another, they took the leap and moved into their first apartment. A year later, Christian knew he was ready for the next chapter. In October 2023, during a family trip to Spain, he planned a quiet, unforgettable surprise. One sunny afternoon in Madrid, they rented a rowboat on the lake at Parque del Retiro. As they floated across the water, Christian playfully asked Angeline to grab his chapstick from his jacket. She reached in and instead pulled out a box that changed everything. There, in the middle of the lake, with her heart full and eyes watering, Christian asked Angeline to marry him.
