I was late to English class, we made eye contact. His first thought, "She's really cute." My first thought, "Do I have something on my face?" After A LOT of glances and a few months, Josh asked our classmates about me. Finally, he built up the courage to talk to me and give me his number. I wasn't sure about starting a relationship, but I took a chance. The rest is history.

We went to the Strawberry Festival in our hometown. After picking strawberries, eating snow cones, and sweating through our clothes, we went home. We ordered Chinese food for dinner and watched a movie. When we were done eating I said, "We forgot to try something that I ordered." I pulled out a takeout box, which contained a silver fortune cookie with a fortune slip in it. He opened the box and silver cookie; he couldn't believe that I was proposing to him. He said, "Really? Of course I will."
