Angelina and Marcelo met while working at the San Pablo Reservoir when they were 19 and 21, respectfully. Angelina's initial thoughts were that Marcelo was very handsome and sweet but she was off the market as she was currently dating her high school boyfriend. Marcelo's initial thoughts were "XXX" A year passed and Angelina was single again but that didn't mean it was an easy start to their dating journey. Marcelo wanted to be respectful of Angelina's recent breakup and didn't take Angelina up on a request to hang out. Angelina thought the cold shoulder meant he wasn't interested so she no longer sought out a connection. Time went on and they remained friends — went on hikes in the El Sobrante hills or chit chatted at work during breaks. It wasn't until XXX that they began to date. They found themselves quickly in love as they shared the same passions, values, and XXX. Their days were filled with the outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and discovering new roller blading trails, a passion they both shared. One of the many moments she knew he was a keeper, was in 20XX when Marcelo took a job as a National Park Ranger at the X park off the coast of Maine for 6 months. Many events happened during this time when they missed eachother's company but none other than when Angelina's beloved grandfather Peter Avila passed. Knowing how much Angelina would need him there, Marcelo surprised Angelina by flying home to be by her side to support her through a hard time in her life. After X years of dating, Marcelo planned an elaborate engagement plan. STORY. Not 3 short months later did Angelina and Marcelo find out they were expected their first child, their son Emiliano. That same year they purchased their first house together and created a home for their son, cat Ru, and dog Nala. After a tragic miscarriage 1.5 years later, they happily found out they were once again expected and welcome their beautiful daughter Angelina. Many asked when the wedding was going to happen through the years but after so many big life moments in between...can you blame them for needing some time before they could commit to planning again? At the end of 2024 Angelina and Marcelo discussed their goals for 2025 and one shared goal became very apparent. They were ready to get married! And now here we are ready to celebrate their beautiful day and their small family.
