Dundas Castle is situated near South Queensferry, approximately half an hour by car west of the center of Edinburgh and just south of the Queensferry Crossing. Guests should enter by the main gates of the estate leading from the B800 which runs between South Queensferry and Kirkliston. Please be advised that the Dundas Castle postcode is not recognized on any GPS navigation systems but by entering EH30 9SS you will be directed to the B800 where you will see the sign for the front entrance to Dundas Castle. From Edinburgh city center to Dundas Castle the cost of an Uber is approximately £25-30 ($35) taxis will be a little more expensive. The trip will take about 20 minutes. From Edinburgh airport – 15 mins drive to the castle. £20-25 ($30) From Glasgow airport to Dundas Castle the distance is 50 miles and will take about 1 hour to drive. The cost of an Uber is approximately £100 ($120)

If you are traveling to Edinburgh by rail from Glasgow Local taxi services are available for transportation between stations and castle. From Glasgow airport – Take a taxi to Queen street station, Glasgow and take the train to Waverley Station, Edinburgh. The trip takes about 1 hour, Once you arrive in Edinburgh take a taxis located outside the train station to Dundas castle or an Uber. From London – From London you can take the train to Edinburgh, this journey takes about 5 hours and arrives in Waverely train station then take a taxi to Dundas castle.

Edinburgh International Airport is the closet airport to Dundas Castle. Only a 15-20 minute journey from the airport to the castle. From London Heathrow, you can fly to Edinburgh and take a taxi to the castle. Flights from London to Edinburgh are 45 mins to 1 hour. Depending on which airline you book from the United States, you can also fly into Amsterdam or France and take a direct flight to Edinburgh and then take a taxi to Dundas castle. Flights from France and Amsterdam are around 1.5 hours flight time. There is a taxi rank located at the front of the terminal, as well as several car hire rental firms are available to hire a vehicle from on site.
