Jason and Angel met in Colorado Springs on January 10th, 2020. Jason was only in town for a weekend after accepting an invite from his brother for a last minute, spur of the moment trip to visit some friends, where he coincidently met Angel, and they developed an instant connection. Their relationship continued to strengthen over the next 5 years across great distance as Jason attended school in Virginia and Angel continued her degree in Colorado. Jason and Angel continually visited each other at every available opportunity, spending numerous holidays and school breaks together. During this time they both finished school and started their careers: Jason as a naval officer and Angel as a veterinary technician. On August 2nd, 2025, Jason and Angel got engaged at Barking Sands White Beach in Kaua'i, Hawai'i, and are now very much looking forward to taking the next step in their relationship as husband and wife. They both truly believe that their relationship was all due to the Lord's work and are excited to celebrate the product of God's love surrounded by everyone they love.
