Maid of Honor
I have known Angelina since the day I was born—literally. As her younger sister, I’ve had a lifetime to get to know her—and somehow, she still puts up with me (and let’s be honest, the same goes both ways!). From force-teaching me my ABCs to inspiring me to chase life’s biggest adventures, she has always been my greatest cheerleader, role model, and built-in best friend. Watching her find a love that complements her fire and spirit has been so special. She deserves the world—and if Carl can keep up with her spunk, I know he’s the one! I couldn’t be more honored to stand by my sister’s side as we celebrate a love that is truly meant to be.
Matron of Honor
Angelina and I have been inseparable since the day she was born. As cousins, sorority sisters, and lifelong best friends, we share a bond that goes beyond just family. From growing up together to attending the same college and pledging the same sorority, she has always been more than a sister to me. I’m beyond excited to stand by her side as she marries Carl, who complements her in the most beautiful way. I can’t wait to celebrate their love and this next chapter in their journey together!
Bridesmaid
Angelina and I met in high school freshman year and the rest was history. She was just being her goofy self and making her presence known day one. I will never forget the day Angelina told me I wasn't "girly" enough and gifted me my first pair of heels and bought me a couple pair of clip on earrings (since my ears weren’t pierced at the time) for my birthday. That was the day I found my best friend. I met my personal cheerleader who saw something in me I could not see myself. From that day forward she has been my sister, my confidant, and the one person who pushes me out of my comfort zone. She does things in love and laughter. From those, first wobbly steps in heels to navigating life's biggest moments, Angelina has been right beside me, believing in me when I didn't believe in myself. She’s not just my ride or die best friend, she’s my forever sister!
Bridesmaid
Hailing from Atlana, GA (we don’t pronounce the other “t”, IYKYK) Christin is not just a bridesmaid—she’s been one of the bride’s closest friends! When you see one, the other isn’t too far behind. From late-nights running DC streets, to unforgettable adventures, our bond has only grown stronger over the years. I’m beyond thrilled to stand by Angelina’s side on the big day, ready to celebrate, support, and, of course, tear up the dance floor! 🎉💃 A.I. Berry….I love you!

Angelina and Alysia met as freshman at Tennessee State University, although Nina was not as friendly at 5 AM marching band practice, they would soon become lifelong friends and sisters. Alysia lives in the BBQ capital, Kansas City (sorry Texas) with her partner and 1 year old. She loves traveling with her family and learning new recipes.
Best Man
Carl is my brother. That’s the only way I can describe our relationship. We first met in 7th grade gym class. I asked him his name, he replied ‘Carl’. I said, ‘that’s cool’, and the rest is pretty much history. Throughout the past 29 years, we’ve gone on to live our own lives, but our friendship never changed. After 8th grade, we went on to different high schools, we went to different colleges, we have different professions, even to this day, we live different lives. But the one constant is that we never let go of the bond we formed in the Franklin Middle School gymnasium. I had the pleasure of meeting Angelina shortly after they started dating, and I couldn’t be happier for them. Carl had plenty of best friends to choose from, but I am forever grateful that he chose me as his best man. Can’t wait for our families to spend the rest of our lives together. Fun fact: Carl and I made a hit single in the 8th grade called ‘Sweet Succotash’.
Groomsman
Carl and I have been boys since representing the track team and minority caucus at Woodberry Forest School, an all-boys prep school in Virginia. Fun fact, Carl and I were on the 4x100 team and finished second in the state, for both public and private schools. Another fun fact, Carl's basketball team lost to Junior's team at Blue Ridge, four times in one season, including in the State Championship game. A true renaissance man, it's easy to see why Carl is a beloved figure wherever he goes, especially in Austin where he is an honorary "Longhorn". To know Carl has found an incredible partner to share his passion for life brings pure joy to all who are lucky to know Mr. Biggs. Brooke and I look forward to the celebrations and will certainly roast him along the way as well.
Groomsman
I met Carl in first grade at Oak Hill Elementary, but it was in Mrs. Jones’s second-grade class where we truly became brothers. Finding out we were both born in December, he was my elder by 26 days and our of our Dad’s were both from Michigan, an added bonus. From then on, Carl would come to my house every day after school. Carl’s older brother, introduced me to ABC and LL Cool J which grew into us growing up on Tupac and Bone Thugs N Harmony. We did everything together, including attending family sporting events, where I’d often catch him rooting for the opposing team. In middle school Home Econ class, I helped him (did it all myself) create his pin cushion and he received a better grade than I did. As much as Carl was a part of my family, his Mom, Dad, and brother G were just as much a part of mine. Some of my favorite memories were riding in the back of Mr. Biggs' BMW. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend or a better childhood. It wasn’t until many years later that I learned about Angelina. Xbox’s were hard to come by during Covid and Carl needed one. Carl liked video games, but I never remembered him needing something like this. After I managed to secure one, I found out it was for his girlfriend’s brother, Leonard. Girlfriend? I knew right then that Carl was locked in. Angelina was, and is, more than everything I could ever wish for in a partner for Carl. I’m excited to watch and be a part of their journey as they build their future together.

I met Carl Biggs in the 7th grade as innocent young 12yr old children. Carl was a very easy going and well mannered kid when he needed to be so not much has changed since. What may surprise some is that Carl was actually a big bully growing up. He’d pick on his smaller friends like Dax and I. Dunking on us while at the same time trying to break my basketball hoop is just one example. This childhood trauma was a reason I picked up Brazilian jiu jitsu receiving my black belt this past February. Bully me now Biggs!!
Groomsman
Carl and I met in middle school a looonggg time ago, when I would hear him singing Keith Sweat’s “Nobody” through the halls of Franklin Intermediate. We eventually went on to different high schools and colleges but linked up when we graduated and moved out into the real world. When I was living in DC, Carl and I would scour the city looking for the greatest happy hours. He would be my weekend roommate sleeping on the couch in a row home with no AC in the sweltering city summer heat. Finally, enter Angelina - Carl’s better half and caretaker. There is never a dull moment when she is around, and she and my wife Nikki hit it off from the start. We would all soon take memorable trips together to places like Iceland, Nashville, and New Orleans. We’re so happy to see them continue to show their love for each other with this marriage. Congrats!

Jonathan and Carl met in high school, where Carl attended Jonathan's rival school. They had heated battles on the basketball courts, which sparked a competitive yet friendly relationship. Later, they both went to college together at William and Mary and even roomed together in NOVA post-college. Over the years, they have kept in touch like brothers. Jonathan had the pleasure of meeting Carl's wonderful fiancé when they started dating and was able to host the couple at his home in Seattle, Washington. Fun fact: Jonathan is in the hall of fame for basketball, cross country, and track at Carl's rival school.
Groomsman
Carl and I play basketball at rival schools and we became friends during a playing careers during high school. We continue our friendship after high school. Carl is one of my favorite human beings to be around, due to the fact that I have the best of time anytime we are together. I love his energy and we are both December babies. The only thing I don’t appreciate about Carlitos is, he is a Knick hater!!!!

I met Carl probably around 10 years ago, and it was brothers at first sight. One of my best friends, he was and continues to be there for me all the time. I was going through a rough time back in 2019, and Carl and I were together like everyday lol. If it wasn’t for those times I don’t know where I would be. We even hung out so much we were going out like everyday even during Covid lol. I first met Angelina at a couples dinner in DC. Her fun awesome personality was noticed almost immediately lol. And I also saw how much she cared for him numerous times. They are opposite, but like 2 different pieces in a 2 piece puzzle, that fit perfectly together. Little known fact about me? I absolutely despise bananas and watermelon lol.

I've known Carl since middle school, about 30 years now. Though I can't quite remember how we met. Odds are, it was at Dairy Lou playing basketball, most likely with Zad and Earl. Over the years, there was one thing that remained constant, he was always late to everything. So, it was no surprise when I first met Angelina at their Christmas/Carl's birthday party a couple of years ago, they showed up late... to their own event... at their own apartment complex. All Carl had to do was literally get in his elevator and still could not get there on time. He's a 1st ballot Hall of Famer when it comes to never showing up on time. I don't know Angelina as well, but if she's still putting up with Carl's legendary career of repetitive tardiness and snoring - for those of you who've had the pleasure of rooming with Carl, you guys know that's quite an experience - I know she's a patient and incredible person. And honestly, that makes her a perfect match for him! I couldn't be happier for these two as they start this next chapter together. Congrats, Carl and Angelina!
