Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:30pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before hand to be seated before the ceremony starts. Please see the Schedule tab of this website to see the itinerary for the night.

Question

Where is the venue at?

Answer

The venue is at The Berry Hill Gardens. The address is 2270 Suggs Rd, Chipley, FL 32428. If driving to the venue, you should put in Berry Hill Gardens into GPS to get directions instead of using the address to arrive at the front gate instead of the side entrance, which is locked.

Question

Is there onsite parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a field that can be parked in on the right side which is lit up at night.

Question

Answer

The closest airport to the venue is the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP). There is more information in the travel section of this website.

Question

Will there be a dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be casual wedding attitre. For men, no suit or jacket necessary but men should wear slacks/khakis and a nice button-down/polo shirt. For women, dresses, jumpsuits, skirts or nice dress pants with a blouse.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside. The reception and social hour will be partially outside. This time in October could get a tad chilly so make sure to plan accordingly.

Question

What will the temperature be like?

Answer

This time of year, the highs average 81 F and the lows average 55 F. So you should wear light clothing that breathes well while having something to cover up once it gets dark.

Question

What kind of food will there be for dinner?

Answer

There will be your choice of pulled pork or marry me chicken. With sides of garlic mash potatoes, mac and cheese, roasted green beans, and roasted sweet potatoes. There will be house salad and Hawaiian rolls. To drink there is going to be sweet tea, punch, and lemonade. There will also be a beef taco bar for those not interested in the rest.

Question

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

No, unfortunately neither bride nor groom enjoy drinking alcohol and have chosen not to spend the extra money to supply it.

Question

Do we have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, there is a Zola and Amazon registry you can get to in the registry tab of this website.

Question

Is it ok to take photos at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we actually encourage photos, but we just ask that you be mindful of the photographers/videographer and allow them the space to capture our special moments.

Question

I can't stay for the whole event, do I need to inform anyone?

Answer

No, while we would love for everyone to be able to celebrate the whole night, we understand that you may need to leave early. Before leaving we just encourage leaving a message with our audio guest book. If the Bride and groom are currently occupied, no need to wait to leave, but if you would like just text the bride or groom a goodbye message.

Question

How easy is it to move around the venue?

Answer

There are paved walkways between the social hour, dance floor, and dinner reception, but you will have to traverse grass between the parkinglot and the ceremony area. There are no stairs that need to be used.
