Maid of Honor
Hello, my name is Kaitlyn. I am the older sister and Maid of Honor to our beautiful bride! I have been so blessed to grow up and build a true friendship with Emily. I have had the opportunity to get to know Jack over the years and watch him become the honorable man he is today. Like growing up with Emily, helping her prepare for such an important day has been an amazing adventure. I am so looking forward to watching all her little details come together. She's planned a stunning celebration of Jack and Emily’s love. I could not be more proud to stand by her side. See you all on the dance floor; I can't wait to boogie the night away!

Hello, I’m Nick. I like to collect trading cards after Jack introduced the hobby to me. I first met Jack and Emily in elementary school and have been close friends with them ever since. The two of them have taught me that long distance isn’t an excuse to drop relationships. Both of them manage to stay connected to family, friends, and each other at times and persevere through it all. We have shared many great memories over the years, but my favorite was when my brother and I surprised Jack and Emily by flying down to Florida to join them on vacation. I’m hoping to add a little extra magic to their special day with my speech.

I have lived in Colorado, New York City, and now Texas. I have directed two off Broadway premiers! I now share three animals with my beautiful girlfriend. Emily was my freshman roommate in college—and we had such a good time that we roomed together again junior year! Some favorite memories would probably be goblin hours studying our VERY different disciplines (her: STEM, me: arts), with Sweet Green as our second dinner. Especially the time she somehow rocked her chair so hard it tilted over backwards and sent salad flying EVERYWHERE. Emily has always been the definition of a true friend, there through thick and thin. I know I can always count on her no matter what, whether that’s for a laugh, or to help me drive 19 hours to my new home. I’m looking forward to seeing Emily and Jack commit to each other surrounded by family and friends—and dancing the night away to celebrate!

Hello, I’m Chris. I am a foodie who enjoys exploring the city to find new and exciting places to try food. Similar to my brother, I first met Jack and Emily in school what seems to be an eternity ago. We have remained close friends with them over the years. Although, now we communicate primarily by sending each other posts on instagram since we’re a few hundred miles apart, I’ll never forget all of the good times we’ve spent together in person. Like our weekly trips to Applebees, torching (not tanning) on the beach, and our many visits to the movie theater. One memory that really sticks out to me, that was very recent, was when the three of us got to explore the city. We had tons of fun along the way and of course plenty of food. Being able to grow up along side these two has been a blessing in many ways, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store. Cheers!

Hi, I’m Lexi – the one with the laugh that’s a little too contagious for its own good! Emily and I met during those long, late-night chemistry study sessions in college – you know, the ones filled with stress, laughter, and more coffee than I should admit. From the moment we started studying together, all these amazing memories started flooding in. One thing I’ve always loved is how Emily’s face lights up every time she talks about Jack. It’s so clear how perfect they are for each other, and I feel so lucky and blessed to be a part of their journey. I’m beyond excited to celebrate this special day with you both, and trust me, I’ll keep the laughs coming all night long!

Hey Emily and Jack, I'm so excited to be a part of your special day! I'm a total foodie and love trying new cuisines, so I will be looking forward to the food choices at the wedding. As Emily’s brother, I’ve known Jack since we were kids. We’ve shared countless memories growing up together. One of my favorite memories was visiting you both in North Carolina. You always bring so much joy and laughter to any situation. I'm most looking forward to celebrating your love with all our friends and family. Can't wait to see you both tie the knot! Best, Andrew

Hi I’m Madi, I am Emily’s therapy patient and former dog sitter to Kona. I met Emily at the hospital in New Bern where we both worked as laboratory assistants. I met Jack when I started to watch Kona, and I think I was known as the dog sitter for quite a while. Emily worked extremely hard to bring me out of my shell, she showed me how to stand up for myself and speak my mind. I don’t think I could pick a favorite memory, but I miss seeing her flex on everyone after she has a drink or planning our women’s clinic/gluten-free restaurant/swim suite boutique. I am most looking forward to partying with everyone, but I am so excited to have some gluten-free food options at an event.

I met Jack through the Marine Corps. Myself and fellow groomsman, Dylan, were tasked with guiding Jack when he checked into his first unit. We likely made his life miserable at times, however we eventually came to love him. Naturally, we met Emily because for some reason she wanted to date Jack. My fondest memories of Jack were watching him grow throughout his career. I am proud of the person, and Marine, that he is today. I am happy that although I am now out of the Marine Corps, I now have a friend for life. The thing that I am most looking forward to at Jack and Emily’s wedding is Yuengling, Bud Light, and being in the presence of true love.

Hey! I'm Avery, and I love to collect new experiences and memories. Growing up, Emily was my across the street neighbor and closest friend. We have had a countless amount of unforgettable moments that have permanently altered and shaped who I am today. A standout moment in our friendship was when Emily came to visit me my first semester of University in South Carolina. Being so far away from home for the first time at such a young age was a huge adjustment, but as soon as Emily arrived I had an overwhelming flood of comfort. It felt as though I had a little piece of home there with me. This is how I would describe mine and Emily's friendship. It doesn't matter where we travel, who were with, or what phase of life were in, when I am with her it feels like I'm home. Jack grew up just a few blocks away, and we all attended elementary through high school together! When we were in elementary school Jack traumatized me for life. There was an incident where we were walking in from recess, and Jack walked into a piece of fence wrongfully reaching into the walkway. He cracked his head open and was rushed into the school by the surrounding aids. I had to carry on like I didn't just see him get seriously injured. Who would've thought this was who Emily would end up with all of these years later. I'm most eager to witness Emily and Jack's relationship finally be celebrated in a manner that is as grand as their timeless love story.... and to do the cupid shuffle.

I'm Sydney, I'm Emily's cousin and bridesmaid. I recently became a mom to the most wonderful little boy. It was amazing that Emily and Jack got to fly down to Dallas to be there for my son's baptism, the 4th of July, and Chili's. It meant a lot that they could be there! I am so excited to be apart of their beautiful day and see my beautiful cousin get married to the love of her life.

A fact about me is I’ve been to 9 national parks and plan to go to every one in my life. I know Jack from serving in The United States Marine Corps together. A positive impact was teaching Jack, which was the only part of the Marines I enjoyed. I’m looking forward to partying and celebrating Jack and Emily in a venue other than a sheriffs office.
