Hi all! Our wedding will take place this August! We cant wait to see and celebrate with you all!

Every Tuesday night, Angelika would go meet some of her friends at Orange Ale House for drinks and trivia. After a couple months of going, Angelika met a cool kid named Kyle. and his friend James. James had a big scruffy red beard, and the cutest smile Angelika had ever seen. Angelika and James (and Bruce, Kyle's dad) chatted all night about her past softball career, and James's slow pitch softball league while bonding over their love of sports. James was a bit shy at the time, and although both felt a spark, he didn't ask for her number! They parted ways, but both thought to themselves "I really hope he/she comes again next week!" As luck would have it, both would show up the following Tuesday, hopeful and eager to get to know each other even more. After talking all night, Angelika was ready to head home, and yet again, James didn't ask for her number. Angelika offered to come watch James's slow pitch team the following night, and offered her number so James could tell her the time and place. That next night, Angelika showed up to James's game, where he hit an in field home run! Although the 3rd base coach told James to stop on 3rd, he thought "no way! I gotta impress this girl" (and she was impressed by the way). After that night, James asked Angelika out on a proper date and the rest, as they say, is history!

It is a yearly tradition for Angelika and her family to go to Newport, RI for a week in the summer. After the first year of dating, James FINALLY got an invite to join them! Angelika and James loved walking around town and taking rides around the beaches. This became a very special place for them. Fast forward a few years, to Friday, June 22nd, 2018. Angelika and James were celebrating their 4th anniversary that weekend. They were supposed to head up to Newport on Friday, but Angelika was feeling pretty tired after work. James insisted that they go up to Newport that night although Angelika reaaally didn't want to. After a little pushing, James finally got Angelika in the car, and raced his way up to Newport. On the car ride up, Angelika patted James's pocket and joked "what are you in a hurry for? is there a ring in your pocket for me?" James laughed it off and kept hurrying. James continued to hurry to a place he wanted to show Angelika, and told her if they got there before the sunset, she could have her anniversary present a day early so of course this got her attention! Finally, they made it to their destination, Goat Island. James took out a large wrapped up present and pulled Angelika to the edge of the Island, and let her open her gift. As Angelika was opened the present, she realized it was a painting. A very special painting indeed. Angelika and James share a favorite painter who creates beautiful art to display on Treehouse Brewing's beer cans. The painting was of the light house on Goat Island, the exact spot Angelika and James were standing. Angelika started to say how beautiful it was, but she noticed James on his knee! After a few beautiful words, James proposed! Angelika said yes and they enjoyed an incredible week celebrating their big engagement.
