Getting to Bohol

Bohol is a beautiful island in the south of the Philippines where we have shared some memorable moments lazing on the beach, swimming in caves, and singing karaoke. It’s not the simplest place to get there from the UK but if you can make it we promise it’ll be worth it! There is an international airport on the island very close to the venue but its connections are limited - coming from the UK or UAE, only really Manila or Seoul would be of any use but there are frequent flights to both of those for very reasonable prices. Otherwise you can fly into Cebu which has direct flights to Dubai and other major hubs around SE and East Asia including Bangkok, Singapore, and Hong Kong. From there it’s a 2-hour ferry journey across to Bohol. If anyone is interested in coming but daunted by the logistics please get in touch and we can help - planning holidays is what we do for fun!

Getting to Codsall

For anyone not familiar with the West Midlands, Codsall is just outside Wolverhampton. Codsall does have its own train station with journeys every 30-50 minutes from either direction but it’s also a short 15-minute journey from Wolverhampton which has frequent connections to London taking 90-120 minutes, and from Manchester at just over an hour. If you’re flying into the UK then your best option is Birmingham (BHX) which is a short hop to Wolverhampton by direct train from the airport. Taxis will be readily available in Wolverhampton and we can share some options closer to the time.

Henann Premier Coast Resort

If you’d prefer to stay in the busier part of the island, definitely check out this hotel. They have two hotels, this one and Hennan Tawala Resort which is also a lush resort, they are just right next to each other. These resorts are located right along the famous long shoreline of Panglao Beach and is within walking distance of Bohol’s laid-back nightlife. It’s just a 13-minute drive to the ceremony venue.
