Visit the giant Paul Bunyan and his trusted blue ox Babe. Tour the trails or take the 10 minute SkyTrail gondola ride over the tree top up the mountain. Nowhere else are you going to have the chance to get an up-close downward perspective from the tops of redwood trees that measure 100s of feet in height.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, California Historical Landmark. Battery Point Light was one of the first lighthouses on the California coast. Battery Point Lighthouse is open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., daily April through September and on weekends the remainder of the year. You can call (707) 464-3089 during these hours to learn when the tide permits access to the island. A gift shop and museum are located in the lighthouse.

Take a drive down the scenic South Pebble Beach. Not only does it have breathtaking views, but it’s also lined with a long string of connected coves. The beach has numerous parking areas all along South and North Pebble Beach Drive between Battery Point and Point St. George. Starting at the south end, there is a fishing access and picnic area. A great place to search for agates or neat driftwood.
Offer guided horseback rides in Redwood National and State Park and Tolowa Dunes State Park. They have rides to the beach and redwood forest. Beach Ride (Tolowa Dunes State Park) Ride through the dunes along the beach and back among the pine trees and meadows. Redwood Ride (Redwood National and State Park) This ride takes you through the forest to Mill Creek and a section of old growth redwoods. This is a super cool wooden viewing deck above the Pacific coast, with expansive sea and beach views. Once you park on the first small parking area to the right, it’s just a short walk down a paved path to the deck. Outdoor tables make this a great place for groups to picnic and spend time whale watching while gazing over the endless ocean.
Wing Wa is that hole in the wall, hidden gem you must try! Possibly the best Chinese food you’ll ever try. Family owned and operated, they have been around for over 20 years. So don’t let the random shopping center it’s located in fool you. This place has 5 star food.
