Alex and Angelica matched on Tinder in January of 2020. ‘’Why do I feel like I’ve seen you somewhere?’’ was the first message sent by Alex. It required a double text due to Angelica taking it literally and not realizing it was a pick up line, which If anyone is wondering, the second part to the pick up line was ‘’No, I remember now. In my dreams’’. However this was the start of a friendship that lasted about 5 months with random trips, summer classes, lots of facetimes, and Angelica’s mom inviting Alex on a family trip. That camping trip was the start of their love story, and little did they know, the rest of their lives. On July 26th, 2020, the last day of the trip, Alex asked Angelica to be his girlfriend at sunrise on the lake. Since then Alex graduated college and they moved from Chico, CA to Rosemead, CA for 3 years and now live in Portland, OR.
