Richard and Angelica met during their freshman year at Washington and Lee and started dating in December of their sophomore year after a particularly tough semester of Microeconomic Theory from which Angelica scarcely emerged unscathed. Although Angelica decided economics was not the subject for her after that, one positive did come out of her semester long sojourn out of the politics department, and that was, of course, her relationship with Richard. Richard and Angelica dated all through college and endured a very brief long distance period while Richard attended a Economics Ph.D program at University of Pennsylvania and Angelica started law school at Columbia. After that first semester, Richard decided to move to New York and pursue a career as a software engineer. Richard and Angelica continued to date throughout Angelica's law school career and got engaged during her third year on September 25, 2016. Richard and Angelica reside in New York City, with their two-year-old choodle, Mozzarella.
