Question

Dress Code

Answer

What is the dress code? Beach semi-formal attire in pastels and neutral tones. Should I bring a cozy layer for Carmel’s weather? Yes, we recommend bringing a sweater or jacket, as it can get chilly. What’s the weather like in Carmel in late August? Expect daytime highs around 65°F and evening lows near 55°F. What shoes should I wear? Please avoid stilettos. We suggest flat-bottom shoes, short platforms, or kitten heels, as the venue includes several staircases.

Please refer to the “Travel” tab for a list of recommended nearby hotels. Kindly note that room blocks have not been reserved. Are there additional transportation arrangements for the event? If there are transportation issues please don't hesitate to reach out to the bride & groom.

Question

Guests with Babies/toddlers

Answer

Please leave your stroller in the groom’s wedding room, located next to the outdoor ceremony deck. Kindly follow the posted signage. Please note that access requires carrying the stroller up flights of stairs. Note: the venue is not stroller friendly. Due to very limited space, the outdoor ceremony & reception dining deck cannot accommodate stroller storage. If a booster seat is required for the reception dinner, please inform the bride. Lastly, for photos the bride & groom kindly asks that car seats are hidden while the photographer takes candid photos during reception dinner. Please message the bride with any questions or concerns at (408) 859-8995.
