Joey and Jelly’s story began in the most unexpected way during the midst of COVID in 2020. Jelly was wrapping up her senior project at Cal Poly, conducting a cost analysis to compare the benefits of amortizing packaging equipment versus sourcing boxes from a manufacturer. One of her research calls led her to a box plant in Modesto, CA, where she requested a packaging quote. What began as a cold call soon turned into something life-changing. That conversation opened the door to a job opportunity at Pacific Southwest Container (PSC). Without knowing anyone in Modesto, Jelly took a leap of faith, trusting in God’s plan, and moved to the Central Valley. Little did she know that decision would lead her to her future husband. Joey, intrigued by the new girl in town, did a bit of Instagram sleuthing and invited Jelly and her friend Kayli over for a house party with his friends. From that night on, Joey and Jelly were inseparable, their connection undeniable.
