Question

When do you require RSVPs by?

Answer

We would like all RSVPs by February 13, 2022 at the latest, so we can notify vendors of updated requirements and reallocate rooms etc. To RSVP - Type in your surname to locate your RSVP and follow the prompts. If you are RSVP'ing on behalf of another person as well, you will need to go through the same process for each person. If you have any issues please contact Angelica or Jeff and they will be able assist you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. However, we want you to all have some time off as well! We have booked babysitters on the wedding day from 1pm to 10pm. The babysitters will be in a room close to the festivities and you will of course be able to check in if you wish from time to time.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, otherwise no.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire on the wedding day please (jackets for men, neckties optional). On the day before and after the wedding, we want you to feel comfortable! However, remember to bring "active wear" for the highland games.

Question

Can I bring my dog, cat, or any other furry friend?

Answer

Ideally we would prefer that pets are left at home. However, there are 2 outdoor kennels on the estate a short walk from the castle. If you cannot find alternative arrangements and would like to reserve a kennel please let us know asap and we will try to accommodate.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking for all guests.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Guests are welcome to take photos during the reception, but please refrain from doing so at the ceremony. Ideally we would prefer that you enjoy the day first hand rather than through a phone or camera lens.

Question

Will transportation be provided to the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

If you are staying off site there are a couple of local taxi companies that you can call for the short ride. Kenny's Taxis - +44 (0)1561 362297 DLC Travel - +44 (0) 7388 446 816

Question

Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Day 1: Afternoon tea, snacks, dinner and all drinks will be provided for all guests. Day 2 (Wedding Day) The wedding festivities in the afternoon will feature cocktails and canapes, a 2-course meal, wedding cake, desserts and late night top ups. Day 3: We encourage guests to venture out and explore this day so there are no formal lunch arrangements. Dinner will be provided for all guests in the evening. **Breakfast will be provided each morning for those staying in the castle.

Question

Do I have to attend all days or can I just come for the wedding day?

Answer

You are welcome to join for as long or as short as you are able! The RSVP options allow you to select which days you will be able to join us and we will cater accordingly. Please note that guests staying all 3 nights will have priority allocation to the castle estate accommodation as these rooms are pre-booked for all 3 nights.

Question

What room configurations are available on the castle estate?

Answer

The castle itself features 20 rooms. The estate has an additional 3 cottages including a 6 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom. The available accommodation has changed since prior RSVP's due to the estate leasing out some of the cottages to long term tenants. As such, we will need to re-do room allocations pending RVSP updates etc. Once RSVP's are received we will be allocating rooms to guests.
