We’re getting married!

Angelica and Emmanuelle met in 2017 in Riverside when she went to adopt a cat, and met a kitten Miro and an adoption counselor Emmanuelle too. A few texts about Miro turned into late-night talks, moving to Davis together for grad school, and eventually a life built together filled with more furry family members. They got engaged in Tahoe in 2020, bought their first home in Woodland in 2021, and still joke that it all started thanks to one very special cat.
