What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Either fly into Austin Bergstrom International Airport or San Antonio International Airport. They are both about the same distance to Wimberly Texas. **PLEASE BOOK YOUR FLIGHT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE** (The Formula 1 is in Austin the same weekend and airplane tickets will be pricey)

Are children invited to the wedding?

While we adore your kiddos, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of immediate family children. Thank you so much for understanding.

Will this be an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

Kindly note that the ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. We’re expecting the typically pleasant Texas weather that October brings.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal — but don’t forget, this is a Texas wedding! You’ll see some men in cowboy hats and boots, so feel free to add a little western flair if you’d like. Just come looking sharp and ready to have a good time!

For places to stay, Wimberley has plenty of cute home rentals sprinkled around the area — perfect for making a little getaway out of the weekend! Under the Travel tab, you’ll also find hotel and resort options that are just a short drive from the venue. Lots of great choices, so pick what feels like your kind of cozy!

Should I rent a car or take Uber?

Answer

We highly recommend that you rent a car. There will be Ubers and Lyft that will take you to Wimberly from the airport, but the city of Wimberly is small and there will be limited rideshare cars.
