Our story began post-college, hanging out with mutual friends in Coconut Grove. Our first encounter was an impromptu scooter ride on Miami’s new Bird scooters, followed by great conversation at Green Street Cafe. We lost touch for a few years, but fate had other plans. In December of 2022, we ran into each other again at the St. Theresa fair, where Brandon asked, 'Are you engaged or married yet?' I replied, 'Nope! I'm still looking for a husband.' But it wasn’t until three weeks later, out with friends again in the Grove (how ironic), that everything clicked. We instantly felt a connection that had always been there, and in that moment, we both knew it was time to take the next step and go on a date. It was one of those rare moments where the saying “when you know, you know” suddenly made perfect sense. We’ve been inseparable ever since, as our hearts recognized what we’d always felt—this was meant to be.
