We first met as freshmen in high school back in 2005, sharing a few classes and exchanging the occasional flirtation, though nothing ever came of it. Years later, after heartbreak, life lessons, children, and the growth that comes with becoming mature adults, fate brought us back together. In 2018, Brent reached out via social media, and the rest, as they say, is history. After a few dates, Brent whisked me away to New York City for a romantic evening — dinner, a visit to the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, and a horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park, where he asked me to be his girlfriend. How could anyone say no to that?! We began our relationship at the end of 2018 into early 2019, taking the time to truly get to know one another and introducing our children and families. It felt like finding the missing piece of a puzzle — we fit seamlessly into each other's lives. We didn't just fall in love with each other; we fell in love with each other's children. It was the perfect blend and the large, loving family we had always dreamed of. Less than a year later, on October 10, 2019, Brent took me to High Point State Park, where surrounded by breathtaking fall foliage and mountain views, he got down on one knee and proposed. It was the easiest decision I've ever made — I said YES! Then, as life often does, it threw us a curveball. COVID-19 derailed our wedding plans, so we shifted our focus to finding a home for our blended family. That too faced setbacks due to rising inflation, but we persevered, and in 2025 we finally settled into our home in Montague, NJ. Now, in 2026 — seven years later — we are finally getting married! We couldn't be more excited to say "I Do" surrounded by all of our loved ones, and to continue building a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
