Our story began in March of 2024 with a first date in San Marcos, Texas. What was meant to be a simple evening quickly became something unforgettable. We shared dinner, laughter, and a few drinks afterward, and in that moment Nima remembered my favorite— a cucumber martini. That thoughtful gesture set the tone for what would become the most beautiful chapter of our lives. From then on, we were inseparable. That very first week was filled with more dates, each one making it harder to say goodbye. As two homebodies at heart, we quickly found joy in the simplest things—rewatching Stranger Things side by side, walking our dogs together, and discovering the kind of comfort that only comes when you’re truly at home with someone. My sweet pug, Teddy, instantly adored Nima. In his final days, we like to believe Teddy knew I was safe, loved, and cared for—that his job of watching over me was complete because I had found my forever partner. Since that first night in San Marcos, our lives have been forever changed. We have built a love filled with laughter, tenderness, and devotion. Today, we look forward to every moment ahead, knowing that together, we are exactly where we’re meant to be.
