Question

A note on gifts.

Answer

We are so grateful for the time, travel, and love you are giving by celebrating with us.Your presence is more than enough. We kindly request no gifts.

Question

When should I book my flights?

Answer

We recommend booking international flights 6–9 months in advance to get the best fares, ideally between December 2025 and March 2026. Please click on the 'Travel' tab for more information about booking flights!

Question

How do we get to the venue or around Rethymno?

Answer

Please wait for updates closer to the date on transport to the venue. In the meantime, please read the below: We recommend flying into either Heraklion (HER) or Chania (CHQ) airport. Both are about 1–1.5 hours from our venue in Rethymno. If you’re travelling in a group, we suggest booking a transfer in advance with one of these trusted local services: - Transfer in Crete (webiste: transferincrete.gr) - Rethymno Taxi Transfers (website: rethymnotaxi.gr) or? - Crete Taxi Services (website: cretetaxi.net). All three offer door-to-door service, including from the airport directly to your villa. You can also use them to get around during your stay.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you’re not staying at the villa with us, we have recommended nearby accommodation options in Rethymno. Please click the 'Accomodation' tab. There are many lovely Airbnbs, boutique hotels and villas nearby to suit all budgets.

Question

Will there be group activities or other events?

Answer

We will be hosting a recovery brunch the day after the wedding. This will start from 11am- totally optional, but a great chance to catch up, swap stories and enjoy a slow morning together if you’re still around!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately, children over 2 years of age will not be able to attend the wedding. This will allow everyone (especially parents!) to relax and enjoy the evening. We hope you understand, and we’ll happily help with local babysitting referrals if needed.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Mediterranean Formal Formal attire suitable for a warm, summer setting. We’d love to see light, breathable fabrics like linen suits, flowing or silky dresses, and warm sunset tones. It’s a celebration, so feel free to dress it up, just make sure you’re comfortable enough to dance and enjoy the night! Comfortable shoes are encouraged.
