FAQs

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We will not have a registry - we have both lived on our own for many years and have all the household items we could ever need! We are currently working toward the purchase our first home. Many of you very kindly gave gifts following our elopement - we are so grateful and certainly do not expect any additional generosity.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unless your children are indicated on your formal invitation, please call your sitter and enjoy your night out!

Question

Do I have to drive home after the reception?

Answer

No, overnight parking is PERMITTED and ENCOURAGED, especially if you enjoyed the open bar. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. You could potentially turn a beautiful day into a tragedy.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

August 1, 2026

Question

You're already married, what is the ceremony for?

Answer

We will be renewing our vows in front of all of our family and friends with a reception to follow. We do not regret eloping even a little bit. It was the most gorgeous, intimate day that will forever bring us infinite joy. We are also so excited to include the people we love in this new special day.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal/Black tie optional We kindly ask all guests to attend in the color black (black dresses, black suits, etc). This will be reiterated on your formal invitation as a reminder as well.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

The answer to this will be on your personal formal invitation.

Question

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the vow renewal ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors with the reception taking place indoors with outdoor access to the patio for a portion of the night as well. Please note the venue is a nonsmoking establishment, no exceptions. This is their rule, not the bride and groom's, so please honor it to avoid trouble for them.

Question

Can I take pictures during the vow renewal ceremony?

Answer

The short answer is no. We have a fabulous professional photographer who will take great pictures that we are happy to share. Having your cell phone and/or cameras out during the ceremony could ruin a perfectly good picture. Please turn phones off until cocktail hour. Our officiant will announce this as a friendly reminder as well.

Question

I have food allergies, will they be accommodated?

Answer

When you RSVP you will be able to indicate any allergies/dietary restrictions and they will be honored to the very best of our abilities. We will reach out to you personally if more information is needed.

Question

I'm coming from out of town, where should I fly into?

Answer

Both Cleveland-Hopkins (CLE) and Akron-Canton (CAK) Airports are within driving distance (less than 45 minutes). We recommended checking both and going with the best price!

Question

I have a question not listed on here, who should I ask?

Answer

Please feel free to reach out to Angelena or Tim directly with any other questions not listed here, but please note that all answers listed on this page are firm. As the date of the event gets closer, you may get a quicker response from the maids of honor or best man.
