Zack and I met by playing a game called sardines, at my old church the night before heading off to Bigstuf (a church camp in Florida ). He was from North Carolina and his church came down to stay at ours (in Alabama) for the night before heading out to camp the next morning. We hit it off automatically and ended up sharing a row of seats for the 4hr bus ride to camp . We then spent the entire week at camp worshipping together and doing a good bit of flirting. By the end of the week we were inseperatable and we decided we wanted to try and be together-long distance. And try we did, We were long distance for 10 months straight! fast forward some and his family ended up taking me into their home, which helped me in all sorts of ways from what I was going through at the time. The best thing about it? We got to see each other everyday, drive each other crazy and build our relationship
At the end of January Zack took me out on a date. I got all fancied up, I had no idea where we were going, he took me to an art meuseum. (I had never been to one so I was supperrr excited) we walked around the entire place and at the end he lead me towards a photo on the wall. I walked around the corner and saw it. I instantly knew who drew it and that it was meant for me, it was a drawing of he and I just in robot form, drawn by a friend of ours who's work I love. While I was admiring the drawing he whirled me around and there he was down on one knee. He popped the question! I said yes! Now here we are! 3 years down and many more to go, we're getting married! Happily ever after is right around the corner! psst! that's us at camp⬇️
