Dress code is semi-casual. We encourage floral clothing, such as floral dresses, Hawaiian shirt, pants or slacks, etc. Please wear comfortable shoes. We DO NOT recommend heels, big purses, or full suits, as there will be no coat check. No full white, purple, yellow color outfits. No joggers.
This is a casual cocktail style event. There will be no reserved or assigned seat for guests. Tables and chairs will be available to use as needed. Once you leave your seats, it is open for someone else to use. Please keep your belongings with you. If you have any physical or medical requirements for a reserved seat, let us know in the RSVP and we will accommodate.
No! The interior “glassroom” is private and for guest only. All other spaces including the lobby, restrooms, outside, and beach is still open to the public.
No! The event is in a federal and state park and the laws of both apply. Rangers and the public will be around during the wedding. Anyone in possession of federally prohibited narcotics is liable to be arrested or escorted off the property.
Yes! Alcohol will be provided in the form of wines (Chianti, Sparkling Rose, and Reisling) as well as seltzers. Guests are welcome to BYOB beer, wine, or seltzers of their choice. Per venue rules liquor is not allowed and will be confiscated if seen.
Yes! We will provide plenty of food at our buffet style dinner. The menu will be posted and emailed when final along with any allergy information.
No! No plus-ones will be allowed to attend (unless your invitation email expressly mentions you have the option).
No. Our wedding is childfree. Please organize babysitters as needed for the duration of our wedding event.
Yes! Parking is first-come first-served and is open to the public. There are about 75 spots near the venue and 30 more in an overflow lot 1/4 of a mile away. Please carpool.
RSVPs will be emailed to you by Google Form. Please RSVP as early as possible. The deadline will be noted in the form. If you need additional time please reach out to Quincy.
Our rental of the venue come with limited 7-day park passes. Reach out to Quincy for pass. Chicago is the third largest city in the United States. Feel free to explore the museums, waterfront, and architecture the city has to offer.
