While we attended the same church for over a year, we were both faithfully praying—individually—for a partner who would love us and share the same vision of marriage as described in Matthew 19:4-6: “Marriage is a permanent bond between a man and a woman.” Though we were friends for a while, we often found ourselves thinking about each other. It wasn’t until Nela invited Angel to Peanut Island on July 27, 2024, knowing they both loved the beach, that everything began to fall into place—and from that day, it’s been a dream come true!
