I joined this beautiful bride circle through my boyfriend’s family, and from the very beginning, Angel welcomed me with such warmth and kindness that it instantly felt like we’d known each other for years. One of my favorite memories with Angel is when we went to the Christkindl Market in Grand Rapids with Truman (my boyfriend) and James (the groom!). It was such a simple but special day that really showed how genuine and easygoing Angel is. I’m so grateful to be part of this day, celebrating a love that’s so real, loyal, and full of joy.

I only met Angel last year, but she’s the kind of person who was so easy to be around! Very warm, genuine, and kind— I knew pretty quickly that we would click! But more importantly, I knew right away that she’s a perfect fit for James. I’ve known James for over a decade, and he’s one of my closest and most loyal friends in life. I remember in college, he’s always talked about wanting to be a great husband and dad by his mid 20s. I used to joke that he was an old man in a young guy’s body. Fast forward to today, he has finally caught up!! Seeing him with Angel makes so much sense that he waited! I remember asking if he was sure, and he said, “You just know.” I thought that was beautiful. I’m so honored to be part of James and Angel’s big day and wishing them a lifetime of love, happiness and memories together!

My name is Truman and I’m James’s cousin. We grew up together the first 14 years of my life. I’m an only child but with James’s company I was often entertained and never felt alone. His presence and influence was nothing short of an older brother. He’s the guy that got me into gaming. I used to watch him play video games and he would do this thing where his mouth would open and go up and down, nonstop every time he was in a battle. Just watching him made my jaw hurt. James is also an incredibly clean and organized person. A very underrated trait that stems from care and appreciation of personal belongings. Yet another influence that I adopted from him. It’s my pleasure to be his best man.

Hi, name is Delbert and I’m James’s younger cousin! I am incredibly honored to be a part of the groomsmen for the amazing union of Angel and James! Growing up, the times I would look forward to most would be my school breaks as I would be able to come across the state to spend time with my cousins, and that foundational in my appreciation for spending time with extended family. A key memory was watching James play Crossfire and S4 league way back in the day and allowing me to play on his account just to let me experience it for the first time. That alone gave me an appreciation for video games that I still have to this day and have met a lot of people through it. James has always been a positive big brother figure and whenever I was around, he has taken good care of me and I’m incredibly grateful to have him in my life!

It’s a real honor to stand beside James on his big day. Over the years, he’s become more than just a friend and business partner—he’s like a brother. James is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. We’ve had a blast traveling together with the fellas, making memories I’ll never forget. Watching James and Angel together, it’s clear they’re a perfect match. They complement each other in so many way - both good cooks, dinner at their place is always means good food and good company. I’m beyond happy for James and Angel. Standing beside James is an absolute honor. Hes truly a great friend and business partner. A guy you can always count on. We met around covid when the times were tough and kicked ass through it literally. Loyal, genuine, and always good for a laugh (or a deep conversation when you need it most), he’s the kind of friend who makes life better just by being in it. Seeing him find someone who matches his heart, humor, and spirit perfectly is pretty amazing to see. James has a warm heart and I’m glad he found Angel that matches perfectly within.
