Back in 2015, Dylan started working in the pharmacy at the Walgreen's where Angel was interning. In October, he had decided to try and flirt with her, to no avail. She was oblivious and he was persistent. Eventually, he was given her number by a co-worker, and things went from there. Dylan had asked her on a date, and Angel was reluctant to say yes. With some prodding from her mother and sister, she finally said yes. The first date, a movie date, was a train wreck. It was awkward the whole time, and ended with a hug. Somehow though, Angel was willing to give him a second chance, and then the relationship began to blossom.

The Proposal

August 2016

Dylan had planned to take Angel to the Parthenon, as he had never seen the inside of it, and it was one of her favorite places to be. He had planned to get on one knee for everyone to see, and play the song "Marry Me" by Train. However, due to some conflicts between the two of them, his plans were dashed. Some things were said, and Dylan was forced to call an audible. He drove to Nashville one night, and waited at the fountain of Angel's apartment complex for her to join him. Because she had not expected his visit, she had to come to him in her pajamas to see what the dingus was doing. Once she had sat down, they had a long conversation, which led to Dylan getting down on one knee, with a dopey grin on his face, and proposing to Angel. She could only ask "Are you sure???", and not in a hysterical manner either. It was more of a "is this dude crazy?" kind of way. And from then on the couple have been engaged. Fun fact, it wasn't until November that she would officially say yes.
