On a summer July day, I posted a photo on instagram from my day on the lake. Cross had followed me on instagram for a while now. Within a minute of liking my photo, he added me on snapchat. The following morning, he sends me a snapchat of his little brother (because all girls love kids, right?) I thought to myself “no way does this handsome guy want to talk to me”. But he did. We texted, talked on the phone for hours, and eventually hung out. We met in JcPenney and walked around our local mall. We hung out the entire day and night. Our love story isn’t a whimsical fairytale, but it’s my fairytale. God sent the most caring and kind man into my life when I needed him the most. On August 7, 2017 he officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and of course I said yes! After two weeks together, the three little words “I love you” slipped out. On July 25, 2018, he asked me to be his wife. On June 7, 2020 we will officially be husband & wife. ♡
