They were two people, in different states, applying to be a part of the same mission with World Missions Alliance (WMA). Amir had done several missions trips with WMA in the past and this was Angel's first trip. They, along with 18 others throughout the U.S. met in Tel Aviv, Israel. The trip was 10 days. Eight days in Kiryat Shmona, and two days in Jerusalem. They learned about the Jewish history & culture, we celebrated the sabbath, prayed for the military, gathered groceries to donate to a Russian nursing home, and loved on the residents in the Kibbutz. In Jerusalem, they went to the Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, the Temple, Mount of Olives, Wailing wall, and visited the site where Jesus' burial is believed to be. With all of that being said, the group became very close and exchanged contacts. It wasn't until a year later that Amir found Angel on WhatsApp. They hit it off immediately and began traveling back and forth from Tennessee and New Jersey to visit each other. In God's perfect timing, the two shall become one!
