FAQ

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

11/29/2026 at the Renaissance Taipei Shihlin Hotel 台北士林萬麗酒店 Address: No. 8, Lane 470, Section 5, Zhongshan North Road, Taipei City, 11141, Taiwan

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We've reserved a room block at the Renaissance Hotel. However, please note that the room block rate (~$220 USD/night) may be higher than what's currently listed on the hotel's website so we encourage you to compare rates before booking. Taipei also has a wide range of accommodation options at various price points. Whether you choose to stay with us at the Renaissance or somewhere nearby, we just want you to be comfortable!

Question

What's the weather like in Taipei in November?

Answer

November is actually one of the best times to visit Taiwan. The summer heat and typhoon season are both over! Expect mild and comfortable temperatures ranging from about 18–26°C (64–79°F) during the day, with cooler evenings around 17–20°C (63–68°F). There can be some windy/rainy days, so we recommend packing a light jacket and a small umbrella just in case. Overall, it's a beautiful time of year to explore the city!

Question

I have a dietary restriction, who do I tell?

Answer

Please note it when you RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Question

Will any part of the event be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony is at the Renaissance Hotel's rooftop garden (11th floor). We recommend checking the weather as the date gets closer to plan the attire accordingly.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire! Think suits, knee-length, midi, or tea-length dresses, and dressy separates. We kindly ask guests to avoid white, ivory, and bright neon colors. We love seeing guests in elegant jewel tones, neutrals, earth tones, or pastels!

Question

Do I need to exchange cash?

Answer

Yes! We recommend exchanging some Taiwan Dollar (NTD) to use during your trip in Taiwan. Find out from your bank on what's best for you in terms of exchange rate. Generally, the cheapest and most convenient method is likely to use your existing US debit card at an ATM in Taiwan. This method consistently yields an exchange rate very close to the mid-market rate.
